It's a boy!

I have entered this card into the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #14 which want us to use any type of embossing on a card. I have also just realised that I can enter it in to Cute Card Thursday challenge #75 New Beginnings, such as ...new baby, new home, new car, new job...whatever new beginning.

I have made this baby boy card with it's cute feet cut out on my Cricut to enter into both challenges. The lovely checked blue paper is by Craft Creations and is available where I buy all of my papers and card at Flutterby Crafts. I used my all time favourite Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder for the background and used Stickles on each of the dots...phew! It does not show up well in the photo but it gives the background a stardust bling effect. I have used my circle nestabilities and computer generated the words.

Now I am in the process of making a pink one!

Wedding Card

A friend asked me to make a Wedding Card last weekend and this is what I came up with. I used my Cuttlebug for the background, die cut a scalloped square and cut the heart with my Cricut. The heart is from my Wedding Solutions cartridge and is my favorite so you will see it popping up on several of my cards! This was layered on Bazzill Bling cardstock and the wording was computer generated. Oh yes a bit of ribbon and pearl dots for the girlie factor!!!

Birthday card

I have entered this card into this weeks CRAFT Challenge #8 which is to create an age related card. I made this earlier in the week for a friends 60th birthday. I used my Cricut and Cricut Design Studio to cut out the numbers, then my Cuttlebug for the butterflies. She said that she really liked it and that it was so different from her shop bought cards of which several were duplicates!! The paper used was from the Tilda Paper Stack which has gorgeous double-sided papers. I have been so scared to use the papers as they are so delicious but now I am on a roll!
