I was asked this week to make an engagement card for a friend. It's so long since I have made a card with my Cricut that I was thankful for the Design Studio. I used this lovely pale blue Tapestry Broderie cardstock which gives a luxurious feel to any card. I love this design which is found on the Wedding cartridge.

'D' for Doreen
This is a special card for my friend Doreen, it's her birthday tomorrow! She was the first person to get me into card making!! She came to my house a few years ago to show my children how to do Iris folding, which they loved.
We both love using our Cricut machines and always exchange cards whenever there is an excuse! She very kindly lets me borrow her many cartridges for me to play with which I am so grateful for.
For this card I used my CDS to weld the letter 'D' to a rectangle, stamped and coloured my Hero Art cake stamps, added a few pearls and layered all onto some 3 Bugs in a Rug paper.
I haven't made a card for ages as life is fairly busy but I hope you like it and thanks for looking.
Happy Birthday Doreen.....may your birthday be sprinkled with fun! (stamped words inside).
